Retainership in HR, IR and Training
Consultants in Purple provide retainership
services to clients in the areas of HR, IR and Training. These
services require the lead consultant from Purple to spend a
specified period of time as agreed within the Company premises and
also be available 24 X 7 to the Company.
Typically in Industrial Relations, the areas would be advice on
disciplinary actions, drafting of letters, evolving strategy for
negotiations and the like.
In HR, the areas are largely centred around establishment of
processes and systems regarding HR practices, thought process behind
design of incentive schemes and computation of incentive, review and
advice on HR policies, etc.
In the area of training, the focus is on design of content and
appropriateness of methodology for imparting training besides
creating tools for assessment of the impact of training at four
different levels namely (Kirkpatrick Model) –
Reaction – to what degree participants react favourably to the training
Learning – to what degree participants acquire the intended knowledge, skills, attitude, confidence and commitment based on their participation in a training event
Behaviour – to what degree participants apply what they learnt during training when they are back on the job
Results – to what degree targeted outcomes occur as a result of the training event and subsequent reinforcement
